ODS Destruction
(ODS: Ozon Depleting Substances like CFC, HCFC etc.)
The technology is based on thermal decomposition under controlled atmosphere. Energy is provided to the process by a Plasma generator.

PyroArc
A waste gasification process for nearly all types of waste including hazardous. Organic substances are decomposed into a clean fuel gas and inorganic material is vitrified into a leach resistant slag. Metals can be recovered in the process.

VitroArc
A process developed for vitrification of fly ash from waste incineration. The fly ash is vitrified into a leach resistant slag and harmful substances like dioxins are decomposed in the process.

Slag reduction
A process for selective reduction of metals. Metal oxides like bag-house dust, a complex slag or ore are fed into a slag bath were reactions take place. Energy is provided by plasma generators placed below the slag level. The reduction ratio is controlled by the amount of reducing agents (coal, LPG, LNG etc.) fed to the process.

Plasmasmelt
A smelt reduction process for dust, ore fines etc. The reactions take place in a coke-filled shaft furnace equipped with plasma generators were normally blast air tuyeres would be placed. Fine material is injected into the furnace in front of each plasma generator. Slag formers or other lumpy material is top-charged to the furnace together with coke.

Arc Fuming
A slag fuming process suitable for melting and reduction of various types of raw materials. Energy for smelting and reduction is provided by plasma generators placed below the slag level. The raw material is continuously fed to the furnace with a conveyer belt to the top of the furnace from were it drops into the slag bath. The process has so far been applied to recover zinc oxide from steel plant dust in a plant with the capacity 40 000 ton of dust per year.
